But make sure you have the other books on hand, too, so that you can read them one after another.
Yes, Sage is SO fun! Yet another book that I should probably re-read at some point... I wonder how reading a second time will change my opinion on Sage as a character?
Thanks for the tag! Can you believe the only Jenelle Schmidt story I've read is "Stone Curse" (from Five Enchanted Roses)?

Sage was such a fun character to read about. An unreliable narrator was a fairly new experience for me as well! :)

By the way, I've tagged you for the Sunshine Blogger Award, if you're interested! https://traceydyck.blogspot.ca/2017/03/tag-3-sunshine-blogger-award.htmlTracey Dyckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03445222618456673198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-739961185981895710.post-21447735627839369452017-03-18T15:50:26.857-07:002017-03-18T15:50:26.857-07:00Oh, definitely! I like how you put a twist on the typical lessons with Princess Bride, learning from the author himself.

I do think it is important to remember that writing should be fun. I think with all the rewriting, niggling over grammar, showing vs telling, and hunting down passive voice you can lose site of what's really important- the story you're telling! And Goldman certainly sets a great path to follow as a writer in this book.

Thanks for putting this up!DJ Edwardsonhttp://www.djedwardson.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-739961185981895710.post-42807824993029107772017-03-16T19:36:44.492-07:002017-03-16T19:36:44.492-07:00Yay, you did the tag!
