About Me

Hello! My name is Abbey Stellingwerff (or A.G. Werff) and here are some facts about me:

-I love to read.
-My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien and P.G. Wodehouse.
-Stories about children having adventures are my favorite.
-The Beatles are my favorite band, and I cannot seem to write a novel without their lyrics popping up in dialogue and descriptions.
-Oh, yes, I'm a writer.
-Eight months out of the year, you can find me in a dorm room in Minnesota. I'm studying English Writing and Literature, History, and the Bible.
-The other four months you can find me sharing a little red couch in Washington State with my laptop or a book.
-Sometimes I play piano and sing. Most of the time, I just listen to music, though. I like anything from classical to Twenty One Pilots to Christian rock from the '80s to just plain '80s rock to Frank Sinatra to musicals to Veggietales.
-My favorite movie is The Great Race.
-If we were to watch a documentary together, it would probably be about Star Trek.
-Despite being from the Starbucks Capitol of the World, I don't like coffee.
-Sometimes my hair is brown. Right now it's purple. Sometimes it's pink. Sometimes it is short. Right now it's growing long again.

What I believe:

I believe in God,

the Father almighty,

Creator of heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died and was buried;

he descended into hell;

on the third day he rose again from the dead;

he ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;

from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and life everlasting. Amen.
